In a heartfelt demonstration of compassion and responsive leadership, the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA), in collaboration with the Distinguished Senator representing Ekiti Central Senatorial District, Senator Michael Opeyemi Bamidele, today distributed relief materials to victims of recent natural disasters in Ado Local Government Area of Ekiti State.
The well-coordinated distribution exercise, held in Ado-Ekiti, witnessed the presence of community leaders, stakeholders, beneficiaries, and volunteers who gathered to ensure the smooth and transparent allocation of materials to affected households.
The relief packages comprised essential food items and household supplies including bags of rice, garri, vegetable oil, noodles, and other consumables carefully arranged and distributed to cushion the effects of the disaster on vulnerable families.
Speaking at the event, Hon.
