The Senior Special Assistant to the Ekiti State Governor on Surveillance, Hon. Fadahunsi Femi, popularly known as Eba, has distributed cash gifts to All Progressives Congress (APC) chieftains in Ado Constituency 1 as part of activities to mark the festive season.
The event, which held at the APC Secretariat in Ado-Ekiti, attracted party leaders across the constituency, including women leaders, youth leaders, ward chairmen, Mrs Margaret Adelusi, the APC Women Leader in Ado, and the APC Chairman in Ado Local Government, Hon. Michael Akinleye.
Speaking at the gathering, Fadahunsi said the gesture was in line with the shared prosperity mantra of the Ekiti State Governor, Mr Biodun Abayomi Oyebanji. He noted that giving back to the grassroots remained a core value of the current administration.
“I am here today to deliver the message of giving back to the grassroots, which has been the gospel of our amiable Governor. I urge you all to continue to support the administration and ensure the continuity of Governor Oyebanji in the forthcoming governorship election,” he said.
In his remarks, Hon. Akinleye commended Fadahunsi for his consistent support and identification with party members at the grassroots, describing the gesture as timely and impactful. He urged other political appointees to emulate the SSA’s commitment to the welfare of party faithful.
Also speaking, the Ado APC Women Leader, Mrs Margaret Adelusi, praised Governor Oyebanji for appointing people with genuine concern for the masses into his administration. She described Fadahunsi as a compassionate leader and prayed for the continuity of Governor Oyebanji’s administration beyond 2026.
Similarly, Hon. Taiwo Adeniyi, Women Leader, Ward 2, lauded Fadahunsi’s generosity, noting that he has consistently supported women and youths across the constituency. She prayed for greater heights and continued success in his political journey.
Fadahunsi, however, urged residents to celebrate the festive period in moderation and to remember the less privileged in their communities.
