RENEWED HOPE GUARD TO OPPOSITION: LEAVE DR. OLAYEMI OYEBANJI OUT OF YOUR FABRICATED TALES

Our attention has been drawn to a baseless, poorly scripted tale being packaged by opposition propagandists, attempting to sow discord and confusion by dragging the name of Her Excellency, Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji, into their circus of falsehood.

For the record, Her Excellency is not a politician. She is a respected academic, an Associate Professor, and a woman of quiet strength and integrity. 

She proceeded on a duly approved sabbatical leave to support her husband during the 2022 governorship election, not for politics, but for partnership. She has since remained focused on her scholarly career and personal pursuits, which include completing the final academic benchmarks required for full Professorship.

Governor Biodun Oyebanji is a man of strong moral character, a leader whose integrity stands tall in every space, public or private. His life and administration are rooted in principle, transparency, and respect for people. No blackmail, no matter how desperately concocted, can dent the credibility he has built over the years.

It is also important to correct a deliberate misrepresentation by these jobless spin doctors: the ongoing Ekiti Women Mobilization Tour is not a government initiative, but a strictly party affair. It is being led by party officials, the Women Leader, Publicity Secretary,  Organizing Secretary and other core stakeholders, as it should be. The state executive members who accompanied these party officials did so to reach out to the party women, not to hijack the functions of the party executive.

This aligns with Governor Oyebanji’s repeated commitment to returning the party structure to the grassroots and allowing party leaders to take charge of their responsibilities.

Dr. Olayemi Oyebanji has never attempted to usurp such roles, because she understands governance, respects institutions, and values order.

Unfortunately, those who have nothing to offer are threatened by peace and progress. Instead of offering alternative policies or constructive engagement, they wake up daily to hatch petty gossip, churn out clickbait propaganda, and hope to gain relevance through lies.

But let them be reminded, Ekiti people are wiser. No amount of sponsored drama can reverse the developmental progress our state is witnessing under Governor Oyebanji.

APC in Ekiti remains solid, focused, and forward-moving. We urge the public to disregard these baseless fabrications and stay committed to the Renewed Hope Agenda.
