UNCONTROLLABLE EXCITEMENT AS WARD 11 APPOINTEES DOLE OUT CASH TO RESIDENTS AND PARTY FAITHFUL

In a bid to corroborate the shared prosperity mantra of Governor Biodun Oyebanji, Ward 11 appointees in Ado Ekiti on Thursday rolled out cash to both party faithful and other residents in the Ward, in order to assist the vulnerable.

No fewer than 150 people were beneficiaries with 1.5million cash was disbursed to enable the residents and Ward members feel the impact of Oyebanji led administration.

The decision was also informed by the fact that the people freely entrusted Governor Oyebanji with their mandate to serve them, so when they are in need, it is morally binding on political appointees to reach out to them.

One of the appointees in the Ward, SSA to the Governor on political affairs, ,Hon.Wale Adakeja said ' this programme is served as palliatives and to also compliment the heart of giving of our Governor, Biodun Oyebanji, who has taken the welfare of the people as his priority”, he added.

One of the beneficiaries at the occasion, Mrs Silifa Akeju commended the appointees from the Ward for always identifying with the people, describing them as true representatives of the people.

A particular beneficiary said, “we have never had it so good like we are experiencing under this administration of Governor Oyebanji.

Another appointees from the ward, SA Digital Media to the Governor Hon.Oba Mathew stressed that such empowerment would be periodical in the ward, he urged the people to remain committed to continuity of Governor Oyebanji.
