Ado Ekiti Dynamic Club Sponsored essay competition among Secondary schools Students, Charged them to prepare for leadership task

In a bid to encourage competition among students in the secondary school, a frontline Sociocultural Club in Ekiti State, Ado Ekiti Dynamic Club organized the second edition of Oba (Dr) Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III Annual Essay Competition   among the secondary school students in Ado Ekiti.
The Essay Competition with the topic ‘My expectation on Sociocultural and economic advancement from Ekiti State Government’ took place at the Palace of Ewi of Ado Ekiti on the 28th of November, 2024 where eighteen secondary schools participated with three representatives drawn from each school. The winners would emerge in two categories (Students & Schools)
Declaring the essay competition open, His Royal Majesty, Oba (Dr) Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III encouraged the students to have a very strong priority early enough in life on things that would prepare them as great leaders of tomorrow. Kabiyesi stated that he intentionally delayed another function in order to attend to the Students and declare the competition open because the students are more important to him. In his Royal blessing, Kabiyesi prayed for life protection and brighter future for the Students. He also prayed on great rewards for the teachers in attendance.
The President of Ado Ekiti Dynamic Club Architect Tope Ogunleye, thanked Ewi of Ado Ekiti, Oba (Dr) Rufus Adeyemo Adejugbe Aladesanmi III, who is also the Grand Patron of the Club for his fatherly role all the time. In his speech "I thank our revered father Ewi of Ado Ekiti on whose name this essay competition was initiated for his support to the Club all the time. He stated that the quest for qualitative education need not to be left with Government alone but to be supported also by non-governmental organizations and promised that Ado Ekiti Dynmic Club shall continue to protect and promote education as an enviable legacy" he said.
The teachers who accompanied the students to the event, thanked Ado Ekiti Dynamic Club for the laudable program and urged other non-governmental organizations in our society to emulate such gestures. Speaking on behalf of the Teachers, Mrs. Omosunlade from Christ’s School charged the Students to see their selection from their various school as an opportunity that should not be taken for granted.
Those attended the event includes; the President of Ado Ekiti Dynamic Club, Architect Tope Ogunleye, the secretary of the Club Mr. Tope Osadiya, other members of the Club and the teachers from various participating schools.
