Oshodi-Isolo Council Chair, Otunba Oloyede Applaud Community Youth for Uniting Against Cultism

In order to stem the ugly tide of cultism, cult related clashes and promote the spirit of brotherhood amongst the youth within the Oshodi-Isolo local government, the executive chairman of the local government, Otunba Kehinde Almaroof Oloyede yesterday 24th October, 2023, received in audience the united youth of Mafoluku in his Oyetayo office.

 The youth of the Community had organized themselves and are ready to weed out the bad eggs amongst them. It was also a meeting to present a united front for everyone and chart a way forward towards having a lovable and peaceful Mafoluku Oshodi. 

While receiving them, the council chairman welcomed their resolve to partner with the government towards eradicating the menace of cultism. He disclosed that there are several ongoing efforts in partnership with the relevant security agencies and that anyone caught will not be spared. 

The council honcho equally applauded their unity, stressing that the era of when they will be fighting amongst themselves should be a thing of the past. He reminded them that development projects can only be situated in a peaceful environment. He further assured them that soonest, work will commence on Omilade and environ. 

He said; "I am delighted to have you all in my office today to hear that you have all united and ready to partner with the government towards putting perpetual end to the ugly incidence of cultism. 

As a government, efforts are ongoing, some I cannot discuss with you, towards putting an end to the development. Security agencies have been charged to carry out their duties promptly and anyone caught will regret the day he decided to join cult. 

We shall continue to support you in your new quest of promoting peace, harmony and spirit of brotherhood in our community."

The youth equally used the opportunity to inform the council chairman that in the coming days, they intend organizing a walk aimed at discouraging youth from join cult groups.

The group was headed by Mr. Fadipe (baba muscle), others include 
Mr Mutiu Fadipe, Ahmed Jisoro, Shakiru Animashun (Emir), Mr Lekan Olojo, Adedumoye Jamiu (Desokan), Mr Sunday (stainless) and host of others.
