Oshodi-Isolo Council Chairman Celebrates House of Rep. Member, Hon. Dawodu on Election Tribunal Victory

The victory of Member of the House of Representatives representing Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1, has been described as confirmation of the acceptance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as "the true progressive party with agenda for the betterment of the people".

The assertion was made by the executive chairman of Oshodi-Isolo local government, Otunba Kehinde Almoroof Oloyede while reacting to the election tribunal  victory of the member, representing his council at the Green Chambers, Hon. Dr. Bashiru Ayinla Dawodu.

Otunba Oloyede commended the tribunal for validating Hon. Dawodu as the duly elected representative of people of Oshodi-Isolo Federal Constituency 1 and that it has laid to rest permanently the acceptability of the ruling party in the local government.

The council boss equally appreciated the PDP candidate, Hon. Owadara for following the civil option by approaching the tribunal, now that verdict has been given, Otunba Oloyede calls on him and his supporters to join the victorious Hon. Dawodu in building a prosperous, lively and progressive local government that all will be proud of.

According to him; "let me use this opportunity to congratulate my brother and our member in the House of Representatives, Hon. Dr. Bashiru Ayinla Dawodu on his victory at the elections tribunal on Monday. The victory is a clear indication that our party is the most acceptable, not only at the local government, but at the state and federal levels. I want to appeal to him to see his victory as a victory for all and to extend hands of fellowship to all, for the good of our communities and local government".

"I equally appreciate the doggedness of Hon. Owadara, both during the election and at the tribunal. Now that the judgment has been given, I implore him and his supporters to join hands together with the winner so as to take our constituency to an enviable height", he concluded.
